The vote incentive is every freaking angle I got for the sculpture. It's very pretty. Then if you vote nice and pretty like you get to see the fanart Lady Yates did of Shades!! ;) Please vote for the new month and the new year! Let's make this a happy start, eh?

So I go to a movie yesterday afternoon with Mike which we've been trying to see the Pursuit of Happyness since it came out. We figure we'll catch the matinee for the sake of our wallet. Never again will I go to an afternoon show again in my life. Ever. I will chew glass first. Once upon a time I friend at the paper I worked for in Angelo that even did a column on people and their rudeness in the theater. If I can find it again I'll definitely link it up. He's an excellent writer. But the gist of the whole thing was the openning of Superman 2 where we all sat with kids playing on the stairs and people trying to conceive behind us. This time at least, for what I saw, it was just cell phones ringing. What amazed me about these people is they didn't reach into their pocket and turn the son of bitch off! They just let it ring till it went to voicemail. Which I mean, yeah, I'll smack you up if your cell is still on during a film I paid MONEY to see but you not even being courteous enough to turn it off after it starts ringing? That's just silly. The people in the theater will find you. This happened twice. Mike was getting pissed even before the movie started (you know how it gets stuck on that Please Silence Your Cellphones screen?) and I kept telling him not to waste his effort on the stupid. Irony.

BTW - any irritating users will be executed for heresy on the above. Bite me.

The movie was good though. But hard to watch. I would recommend it though to anyone. Anyway.

Cosy in the Rocket friends. Coming soon. Watch for it.

And have you voted today? Yesterday? Wanna see something interesting. Go to the BuzzComix main page and see the difference in outs vs the top ten to us who sits in spot 11. The good die young... And another payment will come ringing soon enough.

I was apparently in Dallas during the original rant. Oddness.

[OLD RANT FROM 2004]
Slipping an update in before I head off to New Orleans. ^_^ I'll be back on April 3rd and you can expect the next page on the 4th. ^_^

I learned an interesting thing the other day. After passing a homeless person with one of those cardboard signs I asked my friend, "Okay, the boxes I understand but where do they get the markers?" Keitarou pipes up from the backseat, "Actually they all reuse the same sign. I've seen them on the corners on my way to work. You know that one that has 'No family. No home. No food. God bless.' on it? Yeah, it's been used by three different people. I saw it sitting on the ground at the corner where they're always at." O_o They're too lazy to even make their own signs. That's so sad.
