Anime Central was spectacular. It was great to see a lot of you again. ACEN, I think, is the first convention I've actually repeated so it was an interesting experience to actually see people from the previous year. I got to take five figurines with me of the ones that came in for preorders and they sold out on Friday (super comforting XD) and while my books sold alright it was more fun to have people run by and yell, "Book TWO?!" and me finally be able to point down at the table and yell back in fun, "Right here baby!" Those of you who got to read Chapter 6, I really hope you enjoyed it. I really had fun discussing it with you. Twas a high I haven't had in a LONG time! You guys really made this con fun and I can't wait till next year when Book 2 really is available. To those of you who bought Book 1, I'm so glad you did and I hope you enjoyed it. Those who did and came back by to say so, thank you so much.

Saturday night I got to eat dinner with Jerry and Carrie from Secret of Mana Theater and 9th Elsewhere respectively as well as the crew from Wizzywig. That was a lot of fun considering last year I was too tired and run down. But this year I faired really well I think. And I can now say that Chipotle burritos are the shit and I have found a place to put limes in my tea again. Hopefully we do have one here in Nashville.

Got to see Hawk's new 17in MacBook Pro and while I wanted to be sneaky and screw with him throughout the con, knowing the remotes were universal, I never did get the chance. He has a glossy screen which I find really interesting since I was completely steered away from that every time. Got to see the Eve figure and since we went through the same company for Juno, that was really fun and introspective. We've been swapping emails back and forth like the mafia since the whole thing started and it was fun to finally see what they had put together. She turned out really well and I totally dig the glossy paint. Didn't get to talk with Ananth as much as I'd wanted - I think we just barely got to talk on Saturday. But there's always Otakon. O_o God, I make myself laugh.

The con was busy. Just busy. Mookie was there and I saw him on Thursday night. Was the only night I saw him. I only got to see the bros from Alpha-Shade when they came and saw our group really. I did venture into the dealer room once and found them. I actually did buy some things this con but I didn't get business cards. But I'll have pics! I am determined to take pics!

People who rocked the con included Carrie from 9th Elsewhere and Jerry from Secret of Mana Theater who put up sitting next to me all weekend, my studio buddy, Xero from Swordwaltzer, Mookie from Dominic Deegan who we'll see again in three weeks at A-kon, Ananth and Hawk from Applegeeks who we'll see again at Otakon hopefully, Chris and Joe from Alpha-Shade, and Brion from Flipside who's first book Mike got to get on Saturday. Very fun!

Our next con is A-kon, the mother con. We'll be there with Xero and I know Mooke will be there too. Very much looking forward to that. Lots of panels and goodness and Chapter 6 will actually be there this time. See y'all Wednesday!
