VOTE for sexy in progress.
Updating early in hopes that you'll spare me a vote over at BuzzComix. It's a new month, the list has reset and new super incentives for July are going up. The current one is a paint in progress of Beautiful in Heaven 2.0 which I think is really pretty and probably my best paint work yet. So please vote if you can. You can vote everyday and help support the comic.
But yes, July means... A new month. Which means my server-side tracker is finally showing me some new referrers and I'm finally getting to see how many people are coming in from the awesome guys over at Explosm which kindly linked up the comic after A-kon. Huge thanks to them and their crew. I know a lot of you are going through the archives, have joined the forum, sent emails, etc. It's awesome to have you and you're coming into the story at such a rocking time. ^_^ Hope the slow start doesn't scare you off or the rules in the forum don't deter you too much.
While being seriously sick over the weekend I surfed and stumbled upon this gem: A Softer World, which has to be the most enlightening, in your face, beautiful and morbid work I've read in a long time. It's a definite must-read. This comic is total art. Its literary poignancy will slam you and the photographic brilliance will floor you. And A Softer World even has a book which I hopefully will get to buy as soon as my PW ads take over the world (go PW go!).
I've got all the orders that came out before this weekend out. Be looking for them. Those of you who ordered Chapter 6, I hope you truly totally dig it. We're getting close people! I'm excited. XD

A-kon, not to be confused with Akon in a google search, as you’ll rap instead of cosplay. So… A-kon 18, it was my first time to this con, and I have to say I had a lot of fun, except for that case of food poisoning I got from hotel food on Sunday that had Juno running all over the place trying to figure out what to do with me. I survived that though, thank god…
I have to say, I was very impressed with the cosplay I saw at this convention. The best though (which got a standing ovation from me, Xero, and a few others) is when Vash the Stampede came down the escalator with his angle arm gun in correct proportions… for those of you who are not aware of what this means, it was HUGE. I actually saw them loading the prop into a car at the end of the convention, and it touched the front dashboard, and went out the back of the hatchback. HUGE!!!
In other news, yes, I am a slacker when it comes to my rants. I would try to convince you I’m crazy busy at work, and at home, but I’ll let the lack of rants do the talking.
