One more page left in Chapter 7! Can you believe it?! I can't - mostly because I'm not very far ahead at this point. Next week actually will be an art filler since I'll be leaving for Otakon the day of the update. It's gonna be a cool one though - new character pinup! Wait till you see this badass boy.

So most of you know that I'm releasing a CD here soon of SCD related music. There are two vocal tunes on that CD and they seem to have sparked a trend in my artistic musings lately. In the last two weeks I've added 4 songs to my repertoire on MySpazz and RevberbNation. Pleased with them, I played with the idea of looking for opportunities to share my music. I was contacted last week by a management group and they want to represent me to get my tunes heard, promoted, and recorded. I'm currently sitting in a sort of trial period so they can see how I do and I can see how I like them. I already love them though - that's not an issue.

But the point -

I have a manager now. I have my first gig the weekend after Otakon and I'm flipping out about it.

Where does this leave us? Well, don't jump to conclusions because if I can help it, nothing around here will change. The way I see it, SCD is what got me here. That and you all know I love this comic, what I do, and most of all, I love all of you. But I did want you to know in case things did get sporadic that it wasn't me being lazy.

I will be taking a short hiatus at the end of Chapter 7 to get things in order for the gig and for school which starts up again here soon. I'll put posting art, tunes, guest comics (if anyone wants to send one in) and all that jazz so it won't be dead around here. I really need to take time after this chapter to focus on getting SCD ahead of the game in time for school because I know it's going to take a serious toll.

Otakon is coming up quick! I'll be there again this year along with a few awesome peeps. We'll be in the Artist Alley at tables A5 and A6. Hope you'll stop by and say hi!
