Back from A-kon in one piece. The con went well even though my usual panel, which typically goes off without a hitch, had huge technical difficulties. We laughed and bullshitted though and it worked out ultimately - hopefully people at least learned something. It was great to see and talk with everyone again and get excited about the future for SCD with old friends along my side. Something to be said for the webcomic community as opposed to the music community - we care about each other on a level that's hard to match. Most of the people I've met in comics are generally awesome, loving, inspiring and encouraging - needless to say, it'll be an honor to rejoin that crowd in the future, however I may be doing it.

Got to shout out to some folks who definitely helped make the weekend more metal than ever:
JoJo and Andrew - ooo, battle plug! XD
Crystal - so glad we got to share in the creepy buildings of Dallas together. On that note - PARK!
Mookie - TukTuk is now our battle cry.

Trunks and Crew - I love you guys so much. I wish we would have hung out more. Next time dammit.

Jen - ditto the above - course, I always prefer drinks in Chicago over TX. Huzzah!

On the subject of Star Cross'd Destiny - JoJo and I will be working as a team to bring you the future of the comic. She will be taking over the pencils, I will be inking and coloring. Obviously, it's already written - that's not really changing. But this will hopefully help lessen the stress on my end with being on the road so much - pencils really just ruin my chii. They always have. We're working on the next page - I need to send over source material - but yes! Things are actually happening over here. Huzzah! I'm excited. Hope you are toooooooo.
